Bio
Since 1992, Harry has worked in the financial industry. He worked at Georgia Farm Bureau from 1992 to 1998, two years as the Network Manager and four years as Assistant Director of Information Systems.
In 1998, Harry joined IKON Financial Services, a financial services division of IKON Office Solutions, where he managed a team of project managers in the Information Technology Department. General Electric purchased IKON Financial Services in 2004. Harry was trained in Six Sigma, which was a great complement to project management. He also taught project management classes for IKON and GE employees around the world, preparing candidates to take the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam.
In 2005, Harry returned to Georgia Farm Bureau to implement an Enterprise Project Management Office defining the project management processes/methodology, trained project managers in the departments, and managed the larger, more complex projects.
Harry also developed a Business Analysis Team that specialized in requirements engineering including business requirements, user requirements (i.e. process mapping), systems requirements, and business rules.
In 2008, he helped manage a program to replace core systems including the policy administration, claims administration, billing,business intelligence/reporting, document management, and the building of numerous interfaces. In twenty-two months, GFB successfully implemented the new business processes, new systems, and trained hundreds of people in the home office and in 158 remote county offices.
In 2011, Harry became the Director of Enterprise Risk Management. He works with enterprise stakeholders to identify risks, assess risks, develop risk response plans, and monitor/control risks. Harry is also responsible for Business Continuity Management. He continues to manage programs and projects for Georgia Farm Bureau Federation.
Harry has been married to his wife, Sherri for twenty-seven years. They have two children and live in Macon, Georgia.
In his free time, Harry enjoys blogging, playing guitar, gardening, reading, running, and golf. Harry is a member of Ingleside Baptist Church.
